Top 100 Rural and Community Hospital

Based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX™, this annual recognition program honors outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals.

The Top 100 Rural and Community Hospital list was introduced in 2016. Ivinson first earned Top 100 designation in 2018 – 2022. To determine the 2025 list, the Chartis Center used the Hospital Strength Index, which assesses performance in eight areas: inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspective, cost, charge and financial efficiency.

“The Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals award program elevates the very best performers and helps create a roadmap for those seeking to improve financial and operational performance while continuing to care for the communities they serve,” said Michael Topchik, Executive Director, The Chartis Center for Rural Health. ​“This is our 10^th year recognizing the Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals and we’re thrilled to be able to celebrate this milestone with this year’s winners.”Ivinson is one of three Wyoming hospital’s to earn a Top 100 Rural and Community Hospital designation in 2025. Other Wyoming hospitals include St Johns Health in Jackson and Evanston Regional Hospital.
