A Round of Applause
At Ivinson we strive to create an environment that allows staff to do their best work. Every month team members continue to reach new heights and their accomplishments deserve a round of applause.
DAISY Award Recipient
Ivinson Memorial Hospital proudly participates in the DAISY Award Program, recognizing nurses who demonstrate extraordinary compassion and skill in the care of their patients.
Last month, Valerie Joyce, an RN on Ivinson’s Med/Surg unit, was awarded the DAISY Award. She was nominated by a fellow nurse that became a patient on Val’s unit. Val was recognized going the extra mile to not only care for her patients physically, but also emotionally when many patients are feeling most vulnerable.
Val was celebrated with a DAISY Award ceremony and celebratory cinnamon rolls. The DAISY banner will hang on the Med/Surg unit for the remainder of the quarter.
Congratulations, Val! Ivinson is honored to have nurses like you on our team.
