James Derrisaw, MD

Dr. Derrisaw joined NCAP in June 2003 and began providing anesthesia care at Ivinson in December 2021. He attended medical school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and completed residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Jim is a Wyoming native, grew up in Cheyenne, and graduated from UW with a degree in molecular biology. Following residency he worked in Riverton for two years, Colorado for eighteen years, and is happy to be back in Wyoming. Go Pokes! Outside the hospital, you will find Jim long distance mountain biking, hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors.
